ABOUT LAMBDA EPSILON
The Lambda Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi International Women's Fraternity was installed at the University of Waterloo as the 184th chartered chapter of the Fraternity. The installation and events held in celebration of the installation were held on February 2nd, 2008 at the Waterloo Inn in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Susan Danko, Past International President, served as the installing officer. Twenty-six collegiate women, in addition to five alumnae initiates, were initiated as charter members of the new chapter. The group of extraordinary women spent over a year participating in weekly educational sessions, countless sisterhood events, and a number of philanthropic projects. In addition to establishing procedures, writing bylaws, and electing officers, the chapter also selected their chapter's unique submotto: “live elegantly, laugh easily, love eternally”.
